Some materials on this site including documents, photographs, service records, and personal items are reproduced with the knowledge and permission of the families concerned.

We are committed to working respectfully with families throughout this process:

  • Content involving family-held materials is shared with thr rlevant family for review before publication
  • Families may request thr removal of any family-held materials at any time, and we will act on that request promptly
  • Materials sourced from public records, including the Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF) personnel files and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) are credited accordingly.
